“My life’s goal is to make music with my best friends. And play for awesome people, like the ones here at Suwannee. It’s one of the most beautiful places in the world, you can feel the spirit.”
“People here are family. Whether it’s giving somebody a water, food, a blanket, or providing whatever they make, their art. There’s a connection there. From my accident, I witnessed people that I didn’t even know that were sending me messages because of the brand [PLUR Warriors]. I’ve healed. I was given a continuation at life. I feel that chance was to spread my message through my craft. We make an impact as a whole, as a unison.”
“The definition of love is happiness. Why? Love is a long-lasting happiness; money on the other hand is short-term happiness. You can get a nice car, a nice house, and the next day you still want more. But love, that sh*t lasts forever.”
“We love music; we originally met in Gainesville and went to all kinds of shows back in the day. We met back in the ’80s, and in the early 2000s we started hearing that they [SoSMP] were doing shows. We have been here for almost every Wanee, Bear Creek and a smattering of other shows. We’re here this time because our buddies, moe., are here.”
“My favorite thing about the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park is the community of people, especially like yourselves, who try to bring us all together and thrive, because energy begets energy lifestyle. The greatness of energy out here always brings us all together, and community becomes first and foremost at the Spirit of Suwannee, because people like you guys and everyone who attends come together to make it happen, and we love you!”
“I am very happy because I have great friends, great music [papadosio] and wonderful people all around me, all the time.”
“I’m happy because I’m here, at Suwannee, with all these great people. I’m living life, I’m healthy, and tonight’s going to be a great night.”
“I’m from Nashville, NH. That’s where I was born and raised. I live up in the whites in a log cabin, no television, no telephone, and no running water. I spend my winters here in Florida and do all the music festivals and shows. If I could do anything, I would want to be able to spend the rest of my energy with the goddess, my wife, so I can nurture her and she could nurture me. If I can do that, I’m at home, and when I’m at that home, that’s wherever I’m at. And I’m really blessed with that. God bless the goddess, and safe travels to everyone.”

“I’m happy because there is so much great music and awesome people around all the time. How could you not be happy about something like that? It’s great energy everywhere, good things happening everywhere.”
“I love Suwannee because of the beautiful weather and the great times, and they [my children] are having a blast, and that’s all that matters.” “What was your favorite part?” [to the little boy on the left] “The dancing.”
“How do I feel about the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park? I feel that it’s the best goddamn music festival grounds, like, in the world probably. No where else allows such freedom in camping and bonfires and just has the great community vibes that this place has.”
