“Yoga can do so much if you stay disciplined and dedicated to it. I practice for one hour every day, and I don’t miss it, even at festivals. I’m a trauma-informed yoga instructor and I have my own private practice in Colorado. I offer specialized yoga for your body. I do one-on-one work with people, where I sit them down and try to understand their emotions. Certain emotions can respond to relaxation, and I can help work through those triggers with a physical release. I teach with a therapist and we move through the problem together. Yoga encompasses mind, body, and spirit, and when you add psychology, it doubles the healing. I call it reflective movement.”
